Aroostook County's Public Works Program enhances road service by maintaining roads ensuring a safe transportation system in Unorganized Townships in the County, while ensuring a stewardship to preserve and enhance environmental resources. Welcome
The Public Works Program is funded in part by local property taxes paid by property owners in the 108 townships in Aroostook County. Additional funding is received from the Maine Department of Transportation's Urban/Rural Initiative Program (URIP).
Requests for work can be called in Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at (207)493-3318.
