Welcome to the town of Smyrna

Incorporated 1839, the Town of Smyrna consists of family oriented, friendly, caring and hard working, conscientious people. The Mission of the Town is to keep the community safe, friendly, welcoming, family oriented and picturesque, while attracting and supporting businesses. We promote and support excellence in business, community and education.

The town of Smyrna is located in Southern Aroostook, off I95 and on Route 2. We are a town of six miles square, our population is 415.

We have a Selectmen/Town Manager/ Town Meeting form of Government.
