Welcome to the Town of
Woodland, Maine
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
PLEASE MAKE A COMMITMENT TO RECYCLE
Making a commitment to recycle could save you and your community money. Each Maine resident generates about a half ton of trash every year. Woodland's solid waste goes to the Tri-Community Recycling & Sanitary Landfill. Our town does not give out stickers for the landfill, because we are not one of the original of the three communities that got together and started the landfill.
RESIDENTS OF WOODLAND
Residents of the towns who have contractual agreements with TCL can dispose of their solid waste and the same rules and regulations apply. However, the fees associated access to the Facility are as follows:
- Residents of contracted towns must purchase a landfill permit for $10.00 at TCL (Other fees still apply)
- Car Load-$5.00 per vist-paid by town
- Pick-up or small trailer load-$10.00 per visit-paid by town
- TCL reserves the right to weigh C+D and /or large loads and charge $66.00/ton
